I purchased a pair of these to go with a new Canon T2i both for taking stills and 1080P / 30 FPS video. The cards have worked well and seem to be fast enough for the job. The longest video I took was 4 minutes and on reviewing it there seem to be no dropped frames, etc. There are sure some excellent reviews posted on this product - thanks to all for doing the comparisons and posting results.

If you\'re looking for a decent SDHC card, the Transcend won\'t disappoint. I\'ve had a lot of cards over the years, of varying price, size and brand. I really like transcend cards (I have two of these 8gb cards in fact). They\'re well priced, and generally fast. They\'re not going to be as fast as some of the higher priced Sandisk cards, but then you\'re not gonna pay a whole lot either.

I recently purchased a Sony DSC HX9V camera, and wanted an SD card with enough storage and speed to work with this 16meg camera with 1080p video capabilities. This card to date has worked great.

I bought two cards for my Nikon D7000 camera so that one will hold the original raw files and the other will hold jpg backups. And Of course the camera store recommended that I buy Sandisk Extreme or RAW cards for FOUR TIMES AS MUCH! When I asked why, they said \"reliability\" and \"you won\'t want to lose any pictures with inferior cards.\" Well, I have been using \"inferior\" cards (read...less expensive) including the Transcend cards for many years without any trouble and they are backed by a lifetime warrantee.

I purchased the 8gig class 10 chip for use with my Panasonic ZS5 camera. I needed good transfer speeds for the 720p video the camera is capable of. It works great.
